                                                          The 18th Annual Buffalo River Valley Bluegrass Gospel

                                                          Festival in will take place this summer starting Friday

                                                          August 19th, 2016 around 6 PM and ending Sunday

                                                          August 21th, 2016 around noon. Our festival takes place at

                                                           beautiful Shady Lane Acres, just east of Mondovi, WI.

                                                                         

    The festival grounds are conveniently located at W579 U.S.  Hwy 10, just ¼ mile east of the Hwy 37 and Hwy 10 junction in Mondovi. 

 

The festival starts on Friday evening, August 19, at 6:00 p.m., with Bluegrass Gospel groups from across the United States, in attendance.  Held outdoors, with a large stage, spacious seating area and two large tents for shade, the festival is perfectly located in beautiful Buffalo County, Wisconsin. There is great food available on the grounds provided by K & D's Eatery.  The festival is held rain or shine, so come prepared to enjoy our wonderful Wisconsin weather

This year, we have a wonderful lineup! Performers will be coming

from all around the area!  And, open stage time is 11:30 a.m. on

Saturday, so come with your musical instruments and voices to

join in the fun onstage! Check out the festival schedule section of

Prices for the festival are as follows; Friday $20.00 Saturday $25.00 -- two day pass for Friday & Saturday is $35.00.  Children 12 and under FREE  --  13 thru 16 are half adult price. Sundays are always FREE -- goodwill offering accepted. Parking has always been FREE.  Rough camping available for $11.00 per night.  Tickets are available at the gate or by mail.  For ticket application go to TICKET tab and click on printable ticket.  Sorry we don't take credit cards -- checks or money orders are accepted --- and we still do money......

We've lowered the gate price to match the advance price so you can purchase your ticket when you get here, but we always appreciate advanced sales.

 

 

The Buffalo River Valley Bluegrass Gospel festival

IS STRICTLY FAMILY ORIENTED,

no alcohol or illicit drugs are allowed on festival grounds.

Our festival involves all age groups.  We are also located on the Buffalo River Valley Trail system, so bring your bikes, walking shoes, etc!  Our camp area is right near the stage area. It is located in our field, and rough camping is provided; no electrical outlets are available.  There is a campground located nearby that has limited electric.  PETS ARE ALSO WELCOMED, AS LONG AS THEY ARE LEASHED AND UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES!

 

  Shady Lane Acres is a 42 acre hobby farm, complete with  miniature horses, miniature donkeys, one little dog, and a big FAT cat.(The cat is on a diet, and is doing very well.)  The Buffalo River Valley Trail is an old train track bed that runs from Mondovi to Fairchild, WI and it cuts right

 through our property.  The Buffalo River is also close by, a slow winding river that joins the Mississippi River.
